The World Expo 2010 Shanghai China will begin on May 1, 2010. The Expo expects to welcome approximately 7 million visitors, which will be the largest number ever to visit an Expo in history. Shanghai is now filled with excitement in anticipation of this event.
The theme of the Expo is "Better City, Better Life." Mori Building strongly supports this theme and is pleased and honored to participate in supporting the event and working towards its success.
The international financial and information center, "Shanghai World Financial Center" located very close to the Expo site in the Pudong area, is a mixed use building which has offices, the world’s tallest observatory and hotel "Park Hyatt Shanghai, a media center, and conference facilities. Various events related to the Expo will be held at the Shanghai World Financial Center. The building’s observatory was recognized as the "world’s tallest observatory," and the Park Hyatt Shanghai as the "World’s tallest hotel," by the Guiness Book of World Records in August 2009. Even following the completion of Burj Khalifa (height:828m, observatory:442m) in Dubai, the title of tallest was maintained.
